Adygea: We got the result, the coronavirus was not detected


Laboratory studies did not confirm coronavirus in a resident of Adygea who returned from China

Adygea doctors received laboratory tests of material taken from a patient suspected of being infected with coronavirus, the alleged diagnosis has not been confirmed, the head of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the republic, Sergei Zavgorodny, told Interfax.

"We got the result of the research. It is negative. The coronavirus was not detected," S. Zavgorodny said.

As previously reported, a young girl who returned from China was hospitalized in Maykop with symptoms of SARS. Doctors noted no signs of any dangerous infection, however, additional tests were taken from the girl to clarify the diagnosis.
