Recently, the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov visited the site of a solar power station, which was built as part of the investment project of "Hevel" Group Companies.
The corresponding agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Adygea and "Hevel" was signed in 2018 at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. The project provides for the construction of two solar power plants with a total capacity of 8.9 MW. The company's investment in the construction of two stations will be more than 950 million rubles.
The first solar generation facility in the republic - "Adygeaskaya" solar power plant with a capacity of 4 MW has already been built.
Stages of launching a solar power station The head of Adygea discussed with the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic Gennady Mitrofanov and the project manager for the construction of the solar power plants Anzor Kubashichev.
According to the investor, the power plant will begin to supply electricity in June this year. The estimated annual production of electric energy will be 5.1 million kWh, which will avoid more than 2.5 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.
As part of this investment project in Adygea, another solar power plant is under construction - "Shovgenovskaya" solar power plant with a capacity of 4.9 MW.
“Adygea has good potential for the use of renewable energy sources. We became the first region in the Russian Federation where a wind power park was built. The use of solar generation and the further development of green energy is strategically important issue. This comprehensive work affects the increase in the region’s energy capacities, which will contribute to the development of the republic, attracting new investments",- Murat Kumpilov said.
The head of Adygea also drew attention to the importance of the social aspect in the implementation of the investment project - the creation of new jobs, tax payments to the regional budget, support for domestic producers,- reports the press service of the Head of the Republic of Adygea.
