Clinic center "Charite": Navalny was taken out of artificial coma

The health condition of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has improved, according to a report by the Berlin clinic center "Charite" released on Monday, 7 September, DW reports.  

Navalny was brought out of an artificial coma. The artificial ventilation procedure is gradually discontinued. According to doctors, Navalny reacts to verbal stimuli. However, it is too early to assess the long-term effects of poisoning, doctors said.

The special laboratory of the armed forces of Germany - the Bundeswehr, at the request of the Charite, conducted a toxicological analysis of samples taken from the Russian politican. Experts have found traces of the chemical substance of the Novichok group, their conclusions are not subject to doubt, said earlier the official representative of the Federal Republic of Germany Steffen Seibert.
