The head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, contracted the coronavirus. He announced this on Tuesday, September 22, on his Instagram.

"I switched to a remote mode of work. The reason is the confirmed test result for COVID. I feel well, the disease is mild. Once again, I ask you to take care of yourself, your family and friends," Kumpilov wrote.

Today, the Republic of Adygea is in the third stage of lifting the restrictive measures on coronavirus. For the entire time of the epidemic, 3824 people fell ill, 31 people died and 3285 recovered.
