In the case of Martin Kochesokov prosecution witnesses give conflicting testimony

The Urvan District Court of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic continues to consider a criminal case against the 31-year-old head of the Circassian public organization "Khabze" Martin Kochesokov, accused of acquiring and storing 263 grams of marijuana (part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Kochesokov claims to be innocent and signed a confession under the threat of torture.

At the court session on September 22, 7 witnesses for the prosecution were questioned, including police officers who participated in the arrest of the public figure. They gave conflicting testimonies, which Judge Dzhabrail Kudaberdokov called "illogical."

The court session will continue on October 7.
