Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation visits Elbrus

Today, 06.03.2021, within the framework of a working visit to the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Sergey Nazarov visited the Elbrus resort with a delegation. The head of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov demonstrated to the guests the tourist opportunities of the republic, the infrastructure of the resort area, the press service of the Head and Government of Kabardino-Balkaria reported on Saturday,- Kbrria reports.

The delegation went up the cable car to Garabashi station, then on a snowcat to the high-mountain hotel "Liprus", which is located at an altitude of 3912 meters, where guests could admire the views of Elbrus.

During the visit to the resort area, a presentation of the development plan for the all-season tourist and recreational complex "Elbrus" was organized, which includes the start of construction this year of two cable cars at the Mir station and three ski slopes.
