The Court found Circassian activist Martin Kochesoko guilty

The Urvansky District Court of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria found Circassian social activist Martin Kochesokov guilty and sentenced him to 3 years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 1 yea.

One of Martin's supporters said they would appeal the court's decision.

Recall that Martin Kochesoko is allegedly guilty of possession of drugs in his car. All Circassian activists and organizations in the Circassian homeland and in the Circassian diaspora do not believe in this version of the police, and also made statements that they would support the Circassian activist.

Kochesoko himself denies these allegations and mentions that last year, when he was returning home, the police arrested him and began to search his car. During the search, one of the policemen allegedly found drugs in the trunk of the car. So Martin was detained for three weeks. Then the court released him under house arrest.
