The equestrian crossing "Constellation Shagdi - Shapsugia", which was dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Great World War II was completed.
In four days, 50 horsemen from the Republic of Adygea, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Karachay-Circassian Republic and Krasnodar Region covered more than 150 km of the way, visiting the Circassian villages of the Tuapse region and Sochi. The head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, announced this on his Instagram account.
“The transition “Constellation Shagdi - Shapsugia” has become another outstanding event that united several regions of our country. Such transitions have already become traditional - they demonstrate the endurance and power of the Circassian (Kabardian) horse breed, the strength of the horsemen's spirit, they preserve our ancient traditions," the head of the republic said.
Kumpilov expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event - the Interregional Society of Circassian Horsemen "Shyu Khase", the public organization "Adyghe Khase" of the Black Sea Circassians-Shapsugs and the Russian Military-Historical Society.
