Since the beginning of this year, Karachay-Circassia has received 1 million 328 thousand tourists. This number is 30% higher than the number of visitors to the republic in the first 9 months of 2020,- Information Agency Ria Karachay-Circassia reports.
The most popular destinations are still the Dombay and Arkhyz resorts, as well as the Teberda State Natural Biosphere Reserve. Also among the frequently visited are the tourist complex "Honey Waterfalls" and an extreme park.
Over the summer of 2021, almost a quarter of a million tourists visited Karachay-Circassia.
Thus, in the summer months of 2021, the republic was visited by 10% more guests than in the summer season last year.
