"At a morning operational meeting at PJSC Gazprom, Chairman of the Board Alexei Miller said that this morning at 8:45 Moscow time, the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline has been fully completed," the company's Telegram channel reports.
On September 6, the operator of the construction of the Nord Stream 2 AG gas pipeline informed about the welding of the last pipe in the Baltic Sea. The company expects to commission the gas pipeline by the end of the year.
In practice, in order to start deliveries, the project needs to undergo operator certification and technical certification.
