An exhibition of painted ceramics of the 16th-19th centuries opened in Adygea

In the North Caucasian branch of the State Museum of Oriental Art there is an exhibition "The Unfading Garden". The exposition is dedicated to one of the types of decorative and applied art of the Ottoman Empire - painted ceramics of the 16th-19th centuries,- sovetskaya-adygeya reports.

The exhibition features 56 exhibits from the collection of the State Museum of Oriental Art: painted faience, polished metropolitan and provincial ceramics of the late Ottoman period, decorated with carvings, gilding and silver applique, precious fabrics of the 16th-17th centuries. and Anatolian carpets of the 19th century.

The exhibition will be open until December 5, 2021.
