Mass weddings banquets and funerals will be banned in Adygea from October 11

Such a decree was signed by the head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, in connection with the worsening epidemiological situation due to the coronavirus pandemic and an increase in the number of viral respiratory infections cases. This is reported by Adygea TV.

In addition, the republic will tighten the regime for wearing masks in public transport, at trade facilities, and tougher administrative penalties will be applied to violators. The signed decree instructed the Ministry of Health of Adygea to strengthen work on vaccination of the population against coronavirus and influenza.

According to the regional headquarters, in early September, the peak of the third wave of coronavirus was reached in Adygea. Cases of infection were detected in 19,948 people, 450 of which were fatal.
