11 deputies of the Parliament of Kanardino-Balkaria against the QR codes bill

11 deputies of the Parliament of the Kanardino-Balkarian Republic voted against the federal bill on the introduction of QR codes

Deputies of the parliament of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic supported a federal bill on the introduction of QR codes on vaccination against coronavirus, TASS reports.

Speaking at the meeting, the regional health minister Rustam Kalibatov appealed to parliament members and asked to support the bill. "Everyone should think about their loved ones, relatives and the population of the republic," he said.

So, 43 deputies voted for, 11 deputies were against, one person abstained. "The resolution has been adopted," confirmed Tatyana Yegorova, chair of the parliament of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

We have written in the headline of the article those who voted against the proposed law, because it is an unusual event in this parliament and in other regional parliaments of the Russian Federation to vote against laws proposed in the parliament of the federation. Apparently, there is strong pressure from below, from many people who oppose this law.
