On November 17, a working meeting was held in Moscow between the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and the head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov, - Radio Adygea reports.
Kumpilov, in particular, spoke about the socio-economic situation in the republic, also discussed the implementation of national projects in the republic, the program for the integrated development of rural areas and the individual program for the development of Adygea.
The issues of combating the spread of coronavirus and vaccination of the population were discussed separately. According to the head of the republic, today the vaccination campaign is going on quite actively - 55% of the plan or 44% of the entire adult population are vaccinated in the republic.
Kumpilov thanked the Chairman of the Federation Council for his attention to the republic. He stressed that with the support of the Federation Council and the personal assistance of Valentina Matvienko, many pressing social and infrastructural issues are being systematically resolved in the republic.
