The Circassians in the United States began collecting donations for the Afghan refugees. A post on this topic was posted on the facebook page of the Circassian Benevolent Association in the United States.
The following is the announcement posted on facebook:
Dear community, we would like to come together and support the Afghan refugees during their time of need. The CBA will only be accepting “new” or “like new” items. Let us come together for those who are in less fortunate circumstances. It is important we support other communities to help foster these relationships with them.
