An ethno-language camp for schoolchildren was opened in the mountains of Adygea

 


The ethno-language camp for schoolchildren "Adygland", aimed at popularizing the native Circassian (Adyghe) language among children and deepening knowledge about traditional Adyghe culture, opened on Tuesday at the "Mountain Legend" training and production base of the Adyghe State University. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the university.

The ethno-language camp "Adygland", which opened today in the "Mountain Legend" and which will last until October 2 , brought together 60 Schoolchildren of the republic - winners of city and regional Olympiads in their native language. Stay in the camp will be regulated by the ethical standards of Adyghe Khabze, and the language of communication will be Circassian (Adyghe). Schoolchildren will have a rich cultural and educational program - lectures, master classes, quests and creative meetings with famous scientists, artists, journalists and public figures," the press service said.

The organizers of the camp were the Project Office for the formation of an integrated approach to the preservation and study of the Circassian (Adyghe) language of the Adyghe Regional Institute for Humanitarian Research "Tembot Kerashev" and the Faculty of Adyghe Philology and Culture of the Adyghe State University. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea within the framework of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the statehood of the republic, the press service of the university specified.
