Exhibition "Folklore in Fine Arts" opened in Maykop

 


The Art Gallery of Adygea opened the exhibition "Folklore in the Fine Arts", timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the statehood of the Republic of Adygea and the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of the Russian Federation,- the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Adygea reports.

The exhibition presents works from the collections of the gallery and professional artists of Adygea - about 60 works of painting, graphics, arts and crafts, reflecting the traditions, rituals and customs of the peoples of Adygea.

Visitors will be able to see the works of G.L. Guche (“Mat”), K.Kh. Tletseruk (“Shichepschin”), M.A. Gogunoko (tapestry "Invitation"), A.M. Bersir (“From the depths of centuries”), R.D. Khuazh ("Holiday. Races").
