In the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, for the first nine months of 2022, the livestock industry continues to maintain positive dynamics in both meat and dairy areas,- the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
Compared to the same period last year, the production of livestock and poultry meat in all categories of farms increased by 4.3% to 73.7 thousand tons for slaughter in live weight, milk - by 3.4% to 394.4 thousand tons.
The indicator for the production of eggs increased by 2.6%, reaching 159.6 million pieces.
In January-September of this year, there was an increase in the number of main types of farm animals: cows - by 1.9%, sheep and goats - by 2.5%, poultry - by 5.1%.
