Sambo wrestler Aslan Abazov became the winner of the World Championship

Aslan Abazov, a sambo wrestler from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, became the winner of the World Championship among juniors,- agency RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

Last evening, the World Championship in sports and combat sambo among boys, girls and juniors from 24 countries of the world ended in Yerevan - Armenia. On the final day of the competition, athletes of the age group under 20 fought for the awards of the world championship.

Having made it to the final in the weight category up to 88 kg, Aslan Abazov defeated Georgy Khmaladze from Georgia.

Recall that Aslan Abazov, a graduate of the Baksan sambo school, trained under the guidance of Murat Pchenashev and Bashir Oshkhunov.

As reported by RIA Kabardino-Balkaria, on the previous competition day, Temirlan Beslaneev and Atmir Soblirov, who competed in the youth classification, became the winners of the World Championship.
