US President Joe Biden threatened Saudi Arabia with "consequences" for bilateral relations due to the decision of OPEC+ members to cut oil production. The American leader stated this in an interview with CNN, released on October 12.
Biden's press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained that Riyadh will coordinate its energy policy with Moscow. In response, the Saudi Foreign Ministry assured that the OPEC + decision, in which Riyadh participates, is exclusively economic.
