Ruslan Ortanov won the Russian Championship

 


A wrestler from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Ruslan Ortanov, won the gold medal of the Russian Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling in Samara, the telegram channel “Wrestlers of Kabardino-Balkaria” reports on Wednesday.

On March 14-16, the arena of the Samara Sports Palace hosts the Russian Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling under 18, in which representatives of many regions of the Russian Federation take part.

Having successfully overcome the qualifying stage and the semi-finals of the weight category up to 55 kg, Ruslan Ortanov defeated Airat Salikhov from St. Petersburg with a score of 7-1 in the decisive fight and became the owner of the gold medal.
