The project of KAFFED and KafkasVakfı for the earthquake zone was accepted by the Foundation De France

Foundation de France, a charity organization operating in France, accepted the project submitted by the Caucassian Federation (KAFFED) and the Caucasus Foundation (Kafkas Vakfı) for the earthquake zone,- the website of the KAFFED reports.

Foundation de France directors Karine Meaux, Laura Crèpin and Hervè Manaud visited the earthquake area with KAFFED representatives on 8 March 2023.

The delegation in Gaziantep was welcomed by KAFFED Board Member Hakan Polat and Kayseri Caucasian Association member Gökhan Şen. Accompanied by Safa Yıldıran, Member of the Board of the Caucasus Foundation, the group visited the villages of Mehmetbey, Saraycık and Güçlüksu, as well as the Göksun and Kahramanmaraş coordination centers, and consulted on the projects that could be done with KAFFED and the Caucasus Foundation during the recovery process in the earthquake zone. 

At the end of the positive visit, it was reported that the project was accepted by the Foundation De France.
