Circassian activists call for the boycott of the "Nalmes" dance troupe

In one of the Circassian groups on Facebook, Circassian activists expressed strong opposition to the participation of the "Nalmes" dance troupe in the performances they will hold in Moscow on May 20 and May 22.

According to the Circassian activists, it is inappropriate to perform on the evening of May 21, which all Circassians in the world mark as a day of mourning and remembrance for the victims of the genocide committed by the Russian Empire against the residents of Circassia in the 19th century.

Many activists called for a boycott of all the performances of the Nalmes dance troupe and that in their opinion the troupe sold its dignity for money.
