Circassian wrestler Inalbek Sheriev from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic became the winner of the European U-23 Championship in freestyle wrestling.
Having reached the final of the weight category up to 70 kg, Inalbek Sheriev defeated Kanan Heybatov from Azerbaijan in the decisive bout with a score of 6-2.
The European Wrestling Championship among athletes under 23 years of age 2024 was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from May 20 to 26, 2024.
