Circassian athlete Rasul Nash became a world sambo champion

 


Rasul Nash, a student at Sports School No. 1 in the Takhtamukay District of the Republic of Adygea, won a gold medal at the World Sambo Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan,- Murat Kumpilov, head of Adygea, announced on his Telegram channel.

"Rasul's performance convincingly demonstrated his high level of training. He demonstrated strength, endurance, and a desire to perfect, which earned him a well-deserved gold. This victory is the result of systematic work, self-confidence, and, of course, the tireless support of his coaches, Nurbiy, Rustam, and Azmet Dzharimokov," Murat Kumpilov noted.

More than 450 athletes from 77 countries participated in the competition. In the 71 kg weight class, Rasul Nash defeated opponents from Israel, France, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, and in the final, he defeated an athlete from Spain.
