Russia and Turkey succeeded to achieve a ceasefire in Libya

The Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA), based in Tripoli, has announced the cessation of hostilities in the west of the country following the Libyan National Army (LNA) of Marshal Khalifa Haftar. Reports Ria Novosti agency.
However, in a statement posted on Facebook, GNA emphasized that "it has the legal right to respond in the event of any attack or aggression of the other side."

On Saturday, Russian and Turkish presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on all parties to cease fire from midnight on January 12, as well as immediately to sit down at the negotiating table.

Certainly it would be a very big success for Russia and Turkey if the ceasefire continued and negotiations started between the warring parties in Libya.
