America has ended an era of endless wars, US President Joe Biden said at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, Ria news reports.

“We have completed 20 years of conflict in Afghanistan and we are ushering in a new era of tireless diplomacy,” the American leader added.

In a speech that was the first for Biden from the UN rostrum as president, he stressed that the use of military force should be not the first, but the last instrument" and should not be the answer to any problem in the world."

"Do not doubt, the United States will defend itself and we are ready to use force, but each mission must be clear and achievable," the American leader added.

According to him, Washington does not seek a new Cold War and division of the world into blocs and is ready to cooperate with any country to solve existing problems.
