Sochi in first place in the growth of housing prices in the Russian Federation

In Sochi, since the beginning of 2021, prices per square meter of residential real estate in the secondary market have grown by an average of 55%. This is the highest figure among Russian cities with a population of over 500 thousand people.

This was announced on Sunday, October 17, by RBC on data from a study of one of the Russian real estate services. Average price of 1 sq. m of housing in the secondary market in Sochi increased from 154.5 thousand rubles ($2170) in January to 239.6 thousand ($3370) in October.

The second place is taken by Kemerovo with an increase of 23.2%, the third - Ryazan with an increase of 22.6%. Also, prices increased by more than 20% in Novokuznetsk, Penza, Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl and Tyumen.

St. Petersburg ranked 34th in terms of price dynamics in the secondary real estate market, with an increase of 7.7% since the beginning of the year. Moscow was in the last 38th place. A square meter of housing in the capital has risen in price by an average of 2.6% from 254.7 thousand rubles. up to 261.4 thousand rubles.
