Turkish edition Karar names ten Russian regions "Turkic republics"

The Turkish edition Karar published an article in which it called ten Russian regions "autonomous Turkic republics that do not have independence."

“It is believed that there are between 200 and 250 million Turks in the world, and about one third of them live in Turkey,” the article says.

The text mentions that there are 6 Turkic states in total: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan.

The publication then listed "autonomous Turkic republics". This list included ten Russian regions: Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Chuvashia, Tuva, Yakutia, Altai, Kabardino-Balkaria, Dagestan, Khakassia and Karachay-Circassia. At the same time, it is noted that representatives of the Turkic peoples do not make up the majority in all republics.
