Representatives of the Parliament of Turkey and KAFIAD visits the Circassian Republics


On October 6, a delegation of representatives of the Great National Assembly of Turkey and members of the Association of Caucasian Entrepreneurs (KAFIAD) arrived in the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

The group included Turkish MP Murat Baibatur, Turkish Consul General in Novorossiysk Firat Bayar, parliamentarians Ismail-Emrah Karayel, Mustafa Arslan, Ahmet-Sami Ceylan, KAFIAD Chairman Yusuf Kamil Taymaz, members of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey Yasar Aslankaya, Adnan Arslan and others .

Before arriving in Nalchik, the delegation visited Adygea, where a meeting was organized for them with the Head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov. It comprehensively discussed long-term plans for cooperation, presented to Turkish entrepreneurs the projects of the Industrial Park in the Tahtamukay region and the Lagonaki ski resort.

On the way from Maikop to Nalchik, the delegation stopped in Cherkessk. Together with members of the Adyghe Khase of the Karachay-Circassian Republic, the guests visited the village of Ali Berduko and the museum complex dedicated to the Caucasian War, the monuments to Yuri Khamzatovich Kalmykov and Krym-Gery Khizirovich Khapsirokov in the city of Cherkessk.

On October 7, on the first day of their stay in the capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the city of Nalchik, the delegation of Turkish parliamentarians made a visit to the Parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria, where they met with the Deputy Chairmen of the Parliament Salim Zhanataev and Murat Kardanov, the Minister of Nationalities Anzor Kurashinov .

At the meeting, issues of creating favorable conditions for deepening friendly ties in various sectors between the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and representatives of the supreme legislative body and the business community of Turkey were discussed. The guests spoke about the purpose of the trip, plans and prospects for cooperation. Salim Zhanataev spoke about the activities of the legislative body of the republic, which consists of 70 deputies, five factions of political parties. Murat Kardanov expressed hope for fruitful cooperation and strengthening of ties between Kabardino-Balkaria and compatriots living in Turkey.
