The Circassian Institute in Munich recommends establishing a world Circassian parliament

Last week, the head of the Circassian Research Institute in the city of Munich, Germany, Zaur Giduadge, in a video published on Facebook, talked about the problems that the Circassian organizations suffer from in terms of efficiency and reliability. In this context he recommended establishing a world Circassian parliament that would include all the variety of political Circassian groups that exist today in the Circassian world.

According to Giduadge, only such a parliament can promote the interests of the Circassian nation. He says that having a system of a world Circassian parliament will ensure the independence of the parliament and prevent non-Circassian political powers from taking over the parliament. He emphasizes that the parliament will consist of the representatives of all the Circassian communities both in the homeland and in the diaspora and this political diversity will prevent foreign bodies from interfering in the work of the parliament.

In our opinion, this proposal should be treated seriously in light of the fact that for more than thirty years the Circassian organizations, both in the homeland and in the Diaspora, have not been able to advance the interests of the Circassian people.
