The head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, wrote in his telegram channel that Circassian (Adyghe) cheese took third place in the ranking of regional brands in the Russian Federation. He added that in 2022 more than 25 thousand tons of cheeses and cheese products were produced in Adygea. A year earlier, this figure was 21.6 thousand tons.
“Adyghe cheese is our main gastronomic brand, the demand for which is constantly growing. We will continue to support our cheese makers and, of course, we will continue the tradition of holding a big and already popular holiday - the festival of the Adyghe cheese,” Kumpilov said.
