In Kabardino-Balkaria, girls wearing headscarves are not allowed into schools!
In the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in the Zolsky district in the villages of Zalukokoazhe and Bateh, by decree of the head of the Zolsky District Administration - Ruslan Khashimovich Gyatov, the head of the Education Department and school directors do not allow girls in headscarves into schools, allegedly referring to the school charter.
The head of the Education Department is Asiyat Mukhamedovna Kochesokova.
The director of the school in Zalukokoazh is Makhosheva Tamara Kasimova.
The director of the school in Bateh is Pshukova Marina Safarbievna.
According to the parents, they tried to explain to them that there is a law that allows wearing a headscarf for religious reasons.
They also state that they contacted the prosecutor’s office and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kabardino-Balkaria, but it all ended with the children still staying at home.
In the village of Kichmalka, also in the Zolsky district, they also decided not to allow girls wearing headscarves to go to school.
The director of the school in the village of Almova, Maryana Akhmedovna, did not want to give an explanation to the parents why their children were not allowed to go to school, she simply turned around and left.
Resonance and public censure have always been a working tool in resolving such situations in the Circassian environment. Spread the word and encourage people to condemn these disgraces.
P.s. We count on the inclusion of public figures in the issue, of whom there are enough from these villages.
