Circassian wrestler from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Inalbek Sheriev won the gold medal at the Junior World Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Tirana,- the agency RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
On Wednesday in the capital of Albania the last five sets of awards of the World Freestyle Wrestling Championship among athletes under 24 years old were played out.
Having passed the qualifying cycle of the weight category up to 70 kg without any problems, Inalbek Sheriev met in the final bout with the leader of the second part of the tournament bracket, Yoshinosuke Aoyagi from Japan. The bout ended with a score of 9-3 in favor of the Circassian wrestler.
