On February 13 (2026), Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, hosted the debut tournament of the new wrestling organization "Universal Sports Platform" (USP).
The competition of the freestyle wrestling was held in a Grand Prix format in five weight categories. Four athletes competed for the championship belts in each category, first in the semifinals and then in the deciding bouts.
Among the participants in the opening tournament was Circassian wrestler Inalbek Sheriev (70 kg) from Kabardino-Balkaria, Russia, who returned home with the league championship title.
Inalbek Sheriev, who represented the Moscow region, defeated the Japanese world champion Yoshinosuke Aoyagi (6:0) in the semi-finals, and in the decisive bout, he defeated the world and European champion David Baev from Alania (6:3).
