What do we see in this picture?

Members and staff of the Kfar Kama Council, led by Zakaria Nafso, are welcoming the Russian Ambassador to Israel—and not only that, but hosting him with great honor.

It is deeply troubling that the ambassador of a state—one that violates the rights of Circassians in their homeland, denies Circassians in the diaspora the opportunity to return, has launched a war against a peaceful nation like Ukraine, and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people—is being hosted in a Circassian village where the leadership acts as if nothing is amiss.

This act of hospitality demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of the situation in Russia and sheer stupidity on the part of Kfar Kama’s leadership.
