Head of Adygea Congratulates Rashid Temrezov on His Re-election as Head of Karachay-Circassia

 

The inauguration ceremony for the re-elected Head of the Karachay-Circassian Republic, Rashid Temrezov, took place in Cherkessk (20.09.2026). The Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, attended the ceremony, as he noted on his social media channels.

Rashid Temrezov’s candidacy, proposed by the President of the Russian Federation, received unanimous support from the republic’s parliament.

"This serves as the best possible assessment of Rashid Temrezov’s performance in this high-ranking state position. On behalf of the multi-ethnic people of Adygea, I wished Rashid Temrezov continued, fruitful work for the benefit of the residents of Karachay-Circassia," wrote Murat Kumpilov.

Murat Kumpilov added that Adygea holds the achievements of Karachay-Circassia in high regard. The two republics share a long-standing, positive relationship, and thanks to the personal contributions of Rashid Temrezov, the friendly and professional ties between Adygea and Karachay-Circassia have grown even stronger.

"Together with all our peoples, we safeguard interethnic harmony in the Caucasus and throughout the Russian Federation, working collectively for the well-being of our citizens. We will continue to cooperate comprehensively to address national-level objectives," pledged Murat Kumpilov.
